Help removing dash
Ok, I bought one of Neil's (Euroteck) carbon fiber dash kits for my CLS 63 and I can't wait to take it in to the shop for a swapout. I have the ashtray and gearbox section done, so I just need help with the main dash, the disk changer and the two rollers in the back seat. Kevin, any ideas??
Thanks
Greg
By the way the kit looks unreal
Thanks

Greg,
I haven't been down that road, sorry I can't help.
Be sure to post some pics when its done.
the main plate of wood across the dash is held on with screws and clips. the dealer uses a white teflon/plastic tool to get it off without damaging the wood or the dash. when you pull out the black plastic surround that is around the instrument cluster, you will find some screws to remove. i would imagine if you have the new piece, you will be able to determine where the screws are and where the clips are.
