Anyone own CLS w/030 package
Just curious as to what they think.. Is the 9k worth it? I think it is but have not been able to locate a car with the 030 and distronic..Anyone have experience driving this vehicle.. TIA

030 is worth every 9K, simply because it comes with a full factory warranty and an LSD, which sorely should be standard on every blown or NA AMG.

Also, 030 has to be ordered, simply because most dealers dont order it with their vehicles, very few do.

yup, sounds right to me. What other option would you require to seal the deal? I think 030 is great value, rims, tires ,brakes and lsd..WOW

1. Parktronic

3. Trunk Opener

If I were buying an AMG model, and the 030 Package was available for that model, I wouldn't buy the car without the 030 Package.

OMG what an INCREDIBLE ride...Seems this is definately "choice" auto. Ok so we need to just go for it Cls 63 , 030 package, distronic parktronic and p2, ipod, bluetooth, ...anything else?

Guess the guy in Carlsbad picking up his p3 CLS 63 with parktronic and distronic artic white sav 113k msrp took my car :-(.. Who on earth orders a black on black w/030 and no other options? weird ok I will keep trying. Guess I will have to build.

I thought Fletcher Jones in Newport Beach had one with the performance kit, parktronic & distronic for 100k.

In my opinion it is one of the best cars AMG has to offer.

I will consider the CLS 55 but wanted the 63 as my #1 option. I have driven the 55k for a while, love it but I guess I wanted to experience the new engine and transmission. I definately wan't the 030 package however. Thanks for your continued interest. I may have a chance on Monday to come down.

Funny , I LOVE YOUR CAR, Agree completely with your write up and also drive a MERCEDES SPRINTER , however mine is a airstream westfalia...Nice car. I had the same rims on my E55

my dealer just sent me some infor on my car. build date is Nov.10th and it should be here the end of december.. i hope the 9500.00 is worth it

I think the package is definately the best value. Each tire is 500.00 and each rim 1200. so just wheels and tires 6800.00 dollars. Now add brakes, and LSD, plus the wheel. How much doe LSD cost? What other stuff did you order?
