Ok, so how do you do a great burnout without hurting your car? It looked like he put his foot on the brake and feathered the throttle once the wheels started to spin the wheels? Is that right?

as you can see, those were my old hre's w/ the old ps2's that were already wayyyyy beyond their useful life.
to do a burnout:
turn esp off (or put car in dyno mode)
press the brake to the floor and start feeding in some gas, you will feel the drivetrain tighten, begin to slowly release the brake as you feed in more gas, once the tires begin to break loose floor it and keep the brake pressure on.
if you want to do a rolling burnout just release the brakes a little more to where they are still on but the car is moveing forward w/ the tires smoookiiiiiiiiiiinnnnnnnnnn

very cool,
the problem is with the cost of the tires, unless they are already finished.
My question, what are the concequences on the brakes?

i think, not sure, that the rear brakes kinda loosen their grip while doing a burnout. ive never had them smoke/smell or glow
