Cheap CLS by Chrysler?
I am officially scared now...
YOUR 95K car is now parts sharing with the likes of the such classics as the 16K out the door PT cruiser, ... which is about the cost about the worth of your FLOOR mats and leather seats..
scratch that...not parts Sharing...
AN ENTIRE PLATFORM SHARING HEHE

You would swear they think they are driving Bently's and Rolls Royce. Oh well, to each his own
The CLS based Chrysler will likely come to market AFTER the current CLS is out of production. To share a platform after it has been through its life cycle with MB is fine in my eyes. It cuts costs and gives the cheaper car a good starting place upon which to build a car for the masses that just 3-6 years ago was only around for the wealthy.
When Dodge gets a CLS it will be nothing compared to the new CLS from MB. Not that big of a deal.

But not when MB spends 1 BILLION creating the CLS/E top of the line platform and chrysler gets it for free !
If they get it for free, they dont' have to charge any R&D, and can sell it for 16K and make a profit.
How is that fair to the MB folk who buy CLS for 95 K?

chrysler bites everything!!!and now they have that new car thats supposed to look like a phantom, i seen it at sema. they had some hidious 24" rims on it.
