I had a 1999 360 and the ownership costs (routine service etc.) were killing me. $5000 here and $5000 there. Then a clutch for $8000. Yikes! Time to sell. Got the CLS.. Love it but it is not an exotic.

What are the routine costs for the gallardo? What is the warranty?

OMG that is sweeeeeeeet! The first time i ever saw the pearl green on the gallardo i loved it! I would get it in the pearl green or pearl yellow and now it looks like you have both! Awesome! Congrats! Any mods planned?

If I remember correctly, Lambos are 2 years/24k miles...which is the main reason I steered away from buying one. The Bentley GT is a little better....3 years with unlimited mileage. I would have to think an aftermarket warranty is a must on a Lambo...and I bet those have to run $5-10k.

When you think of what we pay as Benz owners (S, CL, SL) for repairs and the price relative to a Lambo or Bentley, our upkeep isn't that bad...even with the lackluster reliability on some models.

Traumadoc, isn't the Viper ridiculous on those costs too? I have a friend who has one and he told some of the prices for some stuff and it was ridiculous, and this is on a $80k car, if that. He said calipers were $2000-3000...he may have been exagerating.

Only had the Viper about a year. Not real easy to drive and the wifeeeee burned her leg on the sidepipe that is very well camoflaged (sp) by the lower body.
It was a 99 and really fast and spirited but was always under warranty.

Was on the waiting list in Columbus OH. After I saw one in person, I opted against it. My accountant forbade it is well.... Saving for something I like better.....

Not as much as on the Ferrari. Ferrari overprices EVERYTHING. The G car is a LOT of Audi, so I don't expect it to be in the shop that much. Tires and Oil is all


My dad's not that nice! He told me in the past he would buy one when I bought one. It just SO happened that now was the time. Nothing to do with Christmas.. but I guess you can call it whatever you want

75k - 9,2xx miles. Only option on the car was parktronick.. I paid 85 so I'm pretty happy with the deal.

Nice car, nice color. I always preferred the looks of the lambo more then ferraris, and I would have never thought that green would look so good on a car.
