Is there anyway to shut this thing off? It couldn't be any more annoying.

Yes, it can be shut off through the Star Diagnostic computer. Steve will be able to do it for you. He can change that to a passive warning message "Driver Side Fasten Seatbelt" on your multi-function display

I was wondering what the deal was with this nyself.
My CLS55 does not beep but my E500 never stops.
