2 firsts today for me...
Merging onto I75 heading north, I was slightly ahead of a silver S550. I'm driving my medical practice's transport van and in my rearview mirror I see an almost unfamiliar view of the front end of a MB. At first I thought it was a CLS, but it was a S550 with what looked like an AMG bodykit.
On the move it is IMPRESSIVE! It's not a "pretty" car but more handsome and tough at the same time. The BMW 7 series has nothing on this S.
As Im heading home, I'm about to merge onto I75 south and lo and behold to the right of me on I75 is a silver CLS. The closer I get to it I notice the quad exhausts and I know it is an AMG...the closer I get to I75 I notice it isn't a 55 but a CLS63.
I'm hauling *** to get a closer look (in a Ford Windstar mind you). I always do this just to see a CLS on the move, whatever vehicle I'm in. The CLS55/63 lines on the road is just STUNNING and I'm doing 95mph in a minivan to get a closer look. Whoever is the owner and if you are a forum member, I apologize if you thought there was a crazy driver in a white minivan trying to ride your bumper. I was just jonesing another look at your gorgeous AMG.
You guys/gals are very lucky owners, because you would be hardpressed to find anything on the road these days that cuts as fine a line through the air as your CLS55/63. I get a lot of compliments on my E55, but the CLS is another level of style.
I've got 6 months to figure out what I'm going to do after my E55 lease is up and I'm torn by the style and panache of the CLS AMG or the brute force and convertible/hardtop madness of a preowned SL65. It's a good problem to have...God I love the options we have these days!
