Any news on the 09 grill?
I'm still thinking about rocket.
I know it's quite pricey.

I'll look for some pictures. The fitment was pretty much spot on. The mesh grills were included with mine and I wish the side vents were standard.

Exactly. It is definately a more durable material and odds are you WILL scrape sooner or later. I've even accidentally parked over a parking bumper that I couldn't see on a decline and the sound alone made me cringe. It PAYS to have a quality bumper that won't crack!

What gets me is that you AMG guys drive six figure vehicles, but are looking to get knock off/replica/inferior parts. Remember, you typically get what you pay for...

Also, the body shop received some type of module that prevents the dash from showing you messages detecting no fog lights.

I think part of the reason why it looks a little tacky is because the brake vents on the real Brabus rocket bumper had CF vent attached to the bumper. I still like it though.

good to hear that it comes with side vents and that module to prevent an error since the foglights are now gone. im assuming that you were able to reuse your oem parktronic sensors?
what else did it come with?

Can anyone tell me the name of this module and the cost ? I disconnected my fogs and changed them over to a daytime LED system, with different wiring.

I'm getting the no fog light messages.

The original rocket bumper is a beauty. Get it, get it, get it!!!!!

the mesh that goes inside the 3 big air ducts on the front of the bumper.

I'm surprised no one made a CF duct for their rocket bumper. I think I'll give it a try once my car arrives.

Thanks, it is indeed the authentic Brabus bumper. It DOESN'T come with the side vents...I wish it did! My bumper was designed for the parktronic sensors so we were able to reuse all of them with no problems. I didn't even get a chance to see the bumper before it was installed because it was shipped straight to the MB body shop. The body shop guy did tell me there were some flaps or panels to cover up the openings on the bumper, but didn't recommend it as it would block air flow

Go for it. I should warn you though, it can be head turner and people do stare

It is included.

It's installed behind the bumper somewhere. I'll see if I can read anything on it. I do know that it required soldering a few wires.

I'm glad to hear that it comes with the mesh, that my parktronic will fit and that it has the foglight delete module. Kinda sucks to lose fogs though. Especially after I just replaced one of my fogs and also added hids.

I think I will go for the rocket though!

I don't know if you have seen this picture or not, but its HOT. I especially like how the "lip" on the left and right sides of the bumper were painted black with a white pinstripe...I wish I had white just so I could go for this look.
