Where can I buy a Brabus front bumper at a discount? CEC wants $2800 for the bumper without installation/paint. Any recommendations?

did it come with the mesh grills as well?

it doesn't come with the side vents, you'd have to have those custom after (mine don't have...i tried to get them). the mesh is something you would need to install after if you wanted it.

fitment is great. edges all line up clean etc. no complaints at all from me.

I can get you guys a replica for $900, fitment is dead on. Comes with mesh. I'll probably end up getting one for my 55 once I get it.

haven't had time to take decent pictures. or more likely i'm just lazy.

full brabus kit including exhaust, wheels, and the CF grill. Just imagine the real rocket that still has the regular benzo badges on it. those are next to go hahaha!

 

Here are some pics of my Brabus Rocket front bumper for reference.

CarNutz Customz modified the bumper to include the carbon fiber lip portion as well as the carbon fiber side vents. We also used Strut grill material for the mesh.

Let me know if you guys need help purchasing the authentic bumpers, they are worth it, fitment is perfect. Also, they are made of durable pur-rim, not fiberglass.

Brabus is Polyurethane.....yes i agree i have the Non Amg Aero kit....do not buy Fiberglass for ur Luxury car .....trying to sve a 1000 bucks...

 

Are you sure authentic Brabus kit is poly? If it is... that's worth every penny !

 

yup, it's certainly not fiberglass. I've got enough scrapes on the bottom of mine to make me glad that I didn't get the carbon fiber one like I originally planned.

do those replica ones look exactly the same?
do they usually have bad fitment or something?

 

Replicas tend to be copies of a copy, but no... they're not bad fitment, they just require a bit of work to get them to fit properly, any experienced bodyshop could do it.

 

Glad to hear you're using this: I plan to keep it much more aggressively up-to-date than has been the case in the past, but don't hesitate to let me know if you find errors or need clarifications.

Stock bumper with carbon lip flows better with the stock lines of the CLS. Just my opinion of course.

 

comes down to durability. fiberglass cracks/breaks, makes for repairs to be almost impossible. while poly is able to withstand greater beating. I personally would never consider fiberglass.

 

ahh i see. thanks for the info. ill definitely avoid fiberglass and replicas if i go this route.

full throttle: i used to think that in the past but the more i look at the rocket the better it looks to me and i can see it flowing with the car. especially with my art sideskirts.
