First Kill, M6 gets murdered

Maybe US cars are different than CAD cars, but I had access to MDrive on my e60 M5 prior to the 2000km service.

The M cars are fast as hell. A work associate has a new M5 with SMG. Although the tranny sucks for day to day driving, the car is a monster. The CLS may take it, but it is pretty close either way. Depends on the launch. At roll on, the CLS is fast as hell. I am not a lover of the new M body. Kind of funky, but the car runs good. Have fun and happy hunting.

CLS55 06 (K4, LSD), Range Rover Sport 06, Bentley Flying Spur 07
I raced an M6 when my cls55 was stock. He cauht up to me at about 40mph, stepped on it about the same time, by the time we hit 90mph he was only about half a car length behind.

hey guys, my buddy just got a 2007 M6 (sl55dude on this board), he was able to access the MDrive menu and select P 500 Sport right away ... the dealership told him that the ECU is monitoring usage however, and if he went over 5500rpm or 150mph within the first 1200miles that they would be voiding his warranty.
They didn't say he couldnt drive in S6 however, and he had been from the start.
S6 is the shifting calibration program...
He now has above 1700 miles and it is pretty damn fast ... when I get my SL55 out of the service dept. I will have to race and see just how fast
I am debating whether to get an M6 or an SL65... I know the sacrifices I have to make with each, and its a hard decision
