Custom Wheels

Does anyone have the inside of their wheel painted? I had them painted blacks so the brake wouldn't show. My question, if anyone has had this done, is how was it painted and did it start chipping off from the brake dust blasting it.

The first time they tried spray painting the inside black and it started chipping off after a month. I took them back in and they tried cleaning the paint that was left and painting over it, unbelievable. After talking to the guy about it, he agreed to strip the paint off and use epoxy. I'm picking them up on Monday. What do you guys think, will the epoxy hold. (btw, powder coating is out of the question without taking the wheels completely apart again)
