Actually $45K is a fair price, I am surprised the bidding went so high considering that you can get that car for $67 in perfect condiftion (used with 5K miles) and that the demage looks like it would EASILY cost $20K to fix. The guy is lucky someone is willing to pay $45K for it.

I wouldn't invest a dime into that thing. Too many things could go wrong after its fixed.
