new Dyno, results you won't believe

Well I had the opportunity to meet the good folks at evosport today with Vadim. I'll post the picture on the dyno with no other comments and leave it for Vadim to explain how we gained 20 RWHP to make this car an absolute monster. I think the best we got was 444 but not sure. Anyway, I'll leave it up to Vadim to comment as soon as he gets home. Thanks again Vadim, you and the guys at evosport rock.

So that was you there when Vadim called me- my car is there too. Good numbers and I heard about the charcoal filters, very odd in a good way!!! Nice strong car you got there.

20+ to list......
I've said something about the charcoal filters being there on the 63 AMG cars couple months ago in the ML63 section, but no one wanted to see for himself. Looks like trezaei had freed the car up, congrats!!

Spoiler alert! LOL
Yeah I saw your car there. Did you come by to pick it up? I don't think I saw it when I left. Oh and whose CL55 was that upfront? Looked pretty sick.

Yeah pretty amazing free mod, my car might be spending a lot of time down there very soon, those guys really know what they're doing.

Simon took my car home, the dealer messed up my accessory pulley and he wanted to make sure it was ok by driving it a little bit. The CL55?? I dont know about but my 65 is going down to get the dyno soon. Those guys have tuned my last 3 benzes (since 2001).

It's a secret. It'll cost you.
Removed the charcoal filter which basically reduces emissions and doesn't do anything for your car other than limit the air intake. European models don't have this filter in the car and enjoy the extra HPs out of the box. I didn't get a chance to get on it on the way home and I'm a littel gun shy since I got pulled over last night (talked my way out of it but ...). I'll have to see what the new 0-60 is on the g-timer.

My friend has an M5 and he read about the charcoal filters before he took delivery and got rid of it after the break-in.

CLS63 Charcoal filter mod

trezaei, those are very nice numbers!!!! Congratulations, your car seems VERY STRONG. I'm trying to get into a W211 and I keep switching sides between E55 and E63, but your car keeps making my decision easier and easier...

Vadim, you're the best, keep the mods coming...

This should work with every MB that has a charcoal filter. Not sure if they all do or not.

you'll have to remove the air filter assembly, the charcoal filter is in the top portion of the filter housing, it's about 10" x 5" so you won't miss it. It's charcoal colored.

Okay so I just got back from a meeting with this a-hole. I was kinda pissed so figured I'd give it a go for 0-60.
I use the g-timer in my car. Not sure how accurate it is but that is what I use.
Before this mod the best I had ever done was 4.19 (seen in the video I posted).

So with the newly foud 18 rwhp I tried again today.

ESP ON
Transmission mode = M
Shifted all the way down to 1
No power brake

Ready for this? 4.07 s
That is a .12 second improvment on my first try over the many trys it took to do 4.19 . Needless to say I am pretty happy and also sure that I can get in the high 3s if I really really get lucky with traction.

440WHP is a higher number than any stock E55 has ever put down on the EVO dyno. Mine made 435 RWHP before the K-1 which was the best ever for a stock 55 at Evo at the time. Nice.
