WOW, first real rain(wipers)
Incredible, they slow down as the rain slows speed up as you speed up , I noticed and was quite impressed that I did not have to keep changing the speed of the wiper on the steering wheel. It was really accurate and as the drops hit faster as I accelerated the wipers sped up. I never noticed this as it NEVER RAINS HERE!!! Way to go Mercedes. Do all the models have this "smart" wiper?

Yeah they all have it BUT!!
The speed and all is great, but the wipers overall I'd say suck.
They basically move the water from one to the other, then over to the top portion of the glass and launch it across the window only to get wiped again.
I miss the old CLK wipers with the pump-action servo arm.

yup... i used to have a 02 clk and it's much better. not to mention the single blade action... very european.

I miss the old one blade wiper from my W210 E320. That thing cleaned every corner of the windshield and the rain sensor was great. They need to go back to the one arm design. It is the best design to date IMO.

Anyway, lol, yesterday I had an awesome rain driving day around town. A kid in a souped up prelude tried to over take me on the 73 on ramp (very sharp curve) and he spun out like mad. He was pasty white and terrified. Glad he didn't crash but I almost lost it laughing.
I ruined my own day at night though by finishing (all by myself) an entire pack of sourpatches and got totally sick.
