You guys think the 63 es slow? . I know the turbo driver stopped laughing when he realized he was losing to a 4500 lb sedan.

Nice but that was no 997 and the CLS got the start...a 997 turbo would have spanked him. I say this as someone who would buy the CLS over the P-car....the 997 turbo is just a BEAST.

996 turbo? plate said speed gallery. No excuses bro , whatever p car it was he failed to reel me in. I think you missed the incredible part of the race! It was a T I E ! Dont be so sure the 997 as with any manual transmission can be beaten especially if you get the jump. He was pulling hard but , ahhhh ran out of room.

I hope your embarassed after this bragging bro! you should be, look up the stats before making a thread like this, CLS63<997tt ANY WHERE especially a track w/****y traction lol..I posted a video of a 997TT vs C6 Z06, Vette walked him but it wasn't even close (on the streets..) Please lets race tomorrow? I gave you my cell? and I can borrow a good vid/camera capture it all, we can do a couple digs as well just remembered a place (dead end street)

Now stats wise, we know wat will win but sometimes it does come dwn to driver, right...
juice got a great start and the other guy looked clueless to say the least but the fact thaT the cls would smash on him like that is good enough, stats arent everything cause last week juice smoked a brand new z06(and no it wasn't fake) which is ridiculously faster than the 63 but sometimes people hav a hardtime man-handlin such raw power...

obviously track skill is paramount, the C4S has the full widebody as the twin turbos now, not taking anything away from the Juicer! I've offered to race him tomorrow camera in hand, show me how I'll be 10+ cars back since Juicee runs mid to low 13's and swears I'll run a 14 AT THE SAME TRACK LOL..waiting bro...no false starts or inexperience w/me (at least on the streets)

Yeah no shi*t The tower guy was so mystified by the apparant close race he failed to put a time up.
13.309@107.157 he was 13.073@115, his reaction time is what killed him.
He actually had a better time but I crossed the line first because his launch was poor

I watched a modded 325I destroy several 997TT on the twisties at Spring Mountain, that was ALL ABOUT THE DRIVER. Hp mattered not. Hell an EVO and or Lancer can hang with a 997 on the track especially a real twisty one! I love P cars , but I think those fricken AWD lancers for half the price are very trackable

I got alot of Banking to do tomorrow but dam I would love to grab lunch and a beer and do a couple quick bursts. You will prolly beat me though I don't care, win, loose or draw, I drive these cars the way there meant to be, any chance I get!

He passed me but it was after the 1/4 mile yellow light went off. So lets review had I not scratched I would have gotten the win, his time is better because he was faster from one point to another. He lost in the crowds eyes and to most who WATCH the video because he got waxed out of the hole and beaten to the 1/4 mile light! Watch again I get there first.

Edit: I do believe that was a
996 TT now didn't notice the body work, just know the new C4S have the huge wide body like the TT but they don't have the wing or big scallops outt've the rrear fenders my bad
I never saw the trap speed until now, especially w/lackadazicle (sp) start trappin' 115 at that track is damn good!
