I am having a wacky wacky feeling that the 2009 SL MIGHT have a new engine with it and it may be a surprise. New facelift + new engine, almost an all new SL.

Didn't the SL just have a facelift? The 2009 is supposed to be a totally new generation?

I am glad that MB have decided to put the CLS look in the SL instead of their cheaper models....

2009 is another update, albiet a significant one. A totally new version isn't due till 2011 from what I've read.

wonder if christa lehman is the wife (?) of the famous Hans Lehman of Hidden Image fame, who is historically famous for some of the best shots of pre-production cars??

The 2009 version looks like more than just a face lift to me. For some reason I always thought MB only do 1 face lift per production cycle and every 7 yrs. or so they come up with a new one.

Not a fan of the CLS headlights, I really hope this isn't going to happen.

They just had a minor body change for 07, why another minor change for 09? Somethin ain't right...

yup, I'm with the old one, if they change the headlights, might as well change the whole body, better yet, wait for 2011.
