I was able to get one for $94 with 500 miles. Manhiem auctions show 63's (non 030) w/about 3000 miles are now selling to dealers for $84k.

Looks like they are trying to make some serious money on there cars. I bet if you spend of enough time on them they will bring it down. I say a fair price would be 89k for that car.

texas car dealers are such rip off artists.
in san antonio i think they prey on the general lack of intelligence of the people down here ( sorry texans <G>) and are used to soaking everyone that they are just plain used to it.
in the american car dealerships i have listened to a few sales negotiations and i was amazed by the people down hear. It seemed like they could careless how much they paid, they just wanted to get approved for the purchase.

houston is better because of they have more competition.
SA has 1 audi, 1 lexus, 1 porsche and just recently added 2 merc dealers.

Funny you mention this, I was thinking the same thing. I was actually told by one of the 2 San Antonio MB dealers that there was "no way" I'd ever find a discount on a new AMG, other than the $500 off MSRP they offer to repeat customers as a courtesy. They also tried to tell me that they make no money off the sale if they sell at dealer invoice, and expected be to believe both

The dealer has another black CLS55 with low miles and stage 5 Renntech for sale. They want 95K for it. I called to try and negotiate a bit but they won't budge. One can get a 2005 CL65 for that price. I can't believe they are willing to hold out for that price. I guess they believe someone out there will buy it but I suspect it is going to sit for a very long time. The auction prices for these cars are the very low 70's. The Renntech makes it attractive but no way will I pay a 20K premium. I love the sales BS of not dicounting an AMG. Makes me laugh. If they only knew the deal you just got from the Jacksonville Florida Dealership!!!!

trust me, they will sit on that car for a long time. They had that same car when I bought my CLS55 back in Sept 06. They have not been able to move it but I guess they have enough money that they don't care to price it to market. At least they have come down on the price. They asked 120k back in sept of last year.

The numbers that are quote here a Non Certified cars. The 030 CLS at Sugarland is not certified. Too many variables why the car ended up at auction--some dealers reject.

Question MB dealer why it is not certified. No way I would buy any MB from a non MB dealer.

I rather save my dollars to spend on a pre own, come off lease, pristine CLS. It's the only way to go.

I bought the Artic White with black nappa 030 they had with 3k miles for 94 this past Saturday. Too high or Low not sure, but I know the smile has not left my face since!
