What's the tow rating/capacity on a V8 CLS? A race car weighing at 2200kg (compensate say 400kg for trailer/equip still at 1800kg) is one FAT AND HEAVY race car!!!
I know the car is not designed for towing but I was wondering if anybody has done it. I need to tow approximately 2200kg.

The CLS 500 is rated for 1500 kg, I would never pull even that much with my 63.
That said the Stealthhich for the CLS 500 does fit, with a slight modification to the lover bumper shroud. https://stealthhitches.com/products/...hitch-shr32004
No, I'm not towing trailers, the ball hitch is for show. I use the reciver for a bicycle rack

I'vce gotta 2013 shooting brake 63 AMG over here in the NL (Aus import) and I wanna get something that can carry 80kg's worth of e-bikes. let me know would be grand. Been trying to get the right solution for about 3 years now / ha ha. thanks again
