Pissed Off!!!!!!!!

So last week I get bumped in the rear by some a**hole in a hummer. Not major but still enough to ruin my week. So today I had a meeting come up out of the blue so I pick up my cousin and take off. Just as I enter the highway there's this CTS in front of me. He takes off so I take off right behind him when all of the sudden he swerves to the left and all i see is the truck tire that he just kicked up coming straight at me. Yank the stearing to the left and bam I get smacked in the front. Busted marker light scratched quarter panel and the mesh is broken. By my estimate well over 1,000 may even be close to 3 grand in damages. So tomorrow it's off to the shop. Need I mention its time to have all four pads replaced and it's time for tires again. There goes my brithday gift (20" Carlsson u/l)
B-day is friday!!!!!!!!!

oh man i feel your pain. That has happened to me twice and both times i was unfortunate enough to be driving my brothers heavily modified Mustang. Suffice to say he was not happy. First time it happened some idiot kicked up a car mat and it knocked the fog light out and second time it happened, a phone book or something similar was kicked up and hit the front spoiler - nearly ripping it off...luckily only 5/10 fasteners broke.
Some ppl are retards on the road and cannot avoid kicking things up when they clearly couldve driven their tires between the object and not run it over.
Anyways good luck with the repairs.

Sorry Clos.....

Driving a nice car in Miami takes ***** anyway..... There is a shop right next to the towing yard (18th and Purdy?) that I took my car to. They do really nice work.

Let's make a positive from a negative.

Besides your regular body damages include:

1. Replace all four tires due to the fact that they were damaged as a result of unforeseen road hazards. There may not be visible physical damages, but if you read your tire warranty, it is now voided due to the fact of your encounter with the road hazards.

3. Time to think of some body upgrades. See if the repairs will offset some Carlsson body panel upgrades.

4. Don't forget the rental car allowance.

good luck.

lemonade!!!

So these are my intentions, the a**hole that bumped in to me will pay around 1,000 for bumper repair(i have park assist) shop said he may be able to buff out the marks and a few washers will fix the rest . My sister works for Miami Dade transit she got me the info for the district manager for road hazard.(tire is still there) they are facing close to 3gs in damages. There has been alot of news coverage for road debris on the highway lately. (business partners good freind is news anchor, plus I could of been hurt ).

Now if all goes as planned I can turn lemons in to ice cold lemonade

sorry to hear that bud. let your insurance take car of the damage. go buy yourself a set of carlsson's to balance out your pain. those are some god damn nice wheels! instead of buying new tires for your current wheels, why not just upgrade to the 20's? dont be like me! replace all 4 tires and 2 months later, end up upgrading new wheels. there goes $1600
