Welcome... I'm new too. This forum is a great source of information and opinions. I've been impressed with the knowledge I've gained from looking back at old threads from many of the members so far.

Welcome to the best MB/AMG board extant. Lot of great informed folks here.
Glad you love the looks of this car; it's a real beaut that owners sometimes spoil by modding the exterior w/ stupid wheels, front grills, etc that are simply not in keeping w/ the elegant, sleek, tightly-fitted tuxedo w/ a monster underneath nature of this car. So, glad to see you are being careful about this.
Re the KN filters, you might check on this board and ask other owners opinions re this before you put them in, as from what I've read (have no personal experience w/ these myself), they can actually be quite deleterious to the performance of the engine.

K&N's are fine,no power loss but no real big power gain.If you end up modding the motor, then you might see a better improvement with some filters.

CLS 55 that had less miles and had renntech pulley and computer upgrade already. i didnt want any warranty issues. I still have my MTI head/cam/converter , longtube headers, not cats, dyno tuned and lots other mods C5 Vette that runs mid 11's on motor, that my fix lol
this car will remain stock for sure.
