New 550 or Used 55?
if you need his info. pm me.
Especially after I lost the race with a STI and a 07 chrovette, I felt even worse. I probably should make this a different thread, but how much did you guys have to pay for your 63s or 55s? On top of that, if I were to trade in the 550 in for 55 or 63, how much more $$ am I looking at? (my 550 has about 11000 miles and it's about to hit one year)

Anyways the dealer wanted 83K for it with 12K miles...I guess the white color commands a premium?
I made him an offer and left my business card with him to think about it. We'll see what happens!

!!!! haha i personaly owned several porsches before, and i will never again purchase another one unless is the GT3. most porsches have horrible interior, everything is an upgrade, no navi, no power seat, and i came to a conclusion that if i am paying 60k+ for a car, i want navi, power everything, and fully loaded...
Porsches are way too common here in my area, people seems to appreciate the CLS55 alot more...
i would suggest you go with a used Turbo before a Carrera S. thats just my opinion...

My point is look no further than two years if you want a used sports car. It will be right out of the dep curve and a good buy.
As far as the 997S v. CLS55, Drive both....it will likely come down to power v. electric steering
I picked the dealer brains and learned about the 030 package. Finally negotiting with the 3rd dealership I ended up with my baby. You will enjoy and appreciate even more if you do your homework and see what is really out there and available, verus buying on the spur of the moment and hope you got lucky.
Good Luck.
