Catalytic Convertor??
Just throwning out a hypothetical question...
If the catalytic convertors were removed from the CLS55 or CLS63 AMG, would this not allow the car to breathe better and improve horsepower?
Has anybody done this? Not sure I would do it if it did add power with the environment issues, but would like to know.

I think there was talk about this, do a search and you may come up. Check the e55 board those guys are always up to something with mods.
I recall the talk and the question about the ecu always giving you false warnings came up, i'm not your gear head but I would think removing it may give some problems, I may stand corrected!
Good Luck
