I think this is more about the fun not the times. I have a friend that has a 97 Honda civic that pulls 9's and I sold it to him for 7k. If you want a car to pull fast times just buy a POS and do the mods. See you guys at the track

Yeah this will be fun, I think the guys are simply goating eachother. They respect eachoter and I am certain we will have an exciting time. I know I relish the chance to run each and every time. Make the most of this , cause its a rare opportunity.

Yeah..... please don't get the wrong idea about Johnny and I. I actually respect him a lot, and wait till you meet him in person, you'll learn a lot about our cars. He is a wealth of information, and he is very helpful around the boards. I'm really just a rookie when it comes to this stuff, but I saw an opportunity to have some fun and I took it.... but I guess that's why the boards are so awsome

Dam San Diego fires, I had to leave the beast in the garage all day and if the ash is still bad in the morning it will be another day without getting hard driving time. Also My 18" wheels may not be finished due to evacuations here in S.D. If the wheels do not get to me by Thursday morning I will not have time to get the tires installed in time for track day All I have are my 20" Vellano's and no way will I run with them. I am keeping my fingures crossed.

Maybe you can ask to borrow Juicee's stock rims, as he usually runs with his drag radials on the other rims

Who wants ice?
Okay guys, here is the deal........... ice proved to be very important in our last drag racing event. Without it, our cars don't get a chance to produce max performance. Therefore, ice is needed to help cool down our engines between runs.......
If you want ice, Juicee can bring crushed ice bags for $8 dollars per bag (delivered)....
You can send money via paypal to:
jmkdog@covad.net

06 CLS55 w/ P030, 05 Jag S Type R, 05 TBird-68 Dodge Charger R/T-440 w/4speed I'm original owner
That's the best pic of Juicee's car with the ice and the AMG Banner. BTW- That amg banner is on the police hot sheet.
Was planning to be there just to level the playing field with a 55, but I could'nt shuffle my calendar around to make it happen-besides, the wife hijacked the 55 to Santa Barbara last eve.
Post the times and lots of pics of the biggest amg fest this year in SoCal.
PS.. Guys-check out Rarfancial's Rentech mods, especially the headers.

Rick's Renntech ecu and headers provided him with a
12.65@113.44
My weight reduced CLS 63, no filters, no spare , 6 lb battery
12.72@112.33
DA was 3000 feet (rounded down)
The White CLS 63 driven by TREZ 63, ran a 12.8@110.5
In the E63 class
Mo ran a 12.73@111.5
Greg ran a 12.8 @112.32
In the E55 class (stock)
Jangy did about 100 runs and got to be very competitive by the end of the day.
His 55 ran from 13.2 to 12.9
and he was trapping 106-109
The 63 pulled the 55(stock ) on every run and the 55 seemed to be the better car out of the hole and throught the first couple hundred feet.
Phil's 55 with cooling mods and a larger TB was super consistant and out ran the stock 63's with a 12.61@112. Phil was the most consistant.
Jrocket in his modded 55 , ranged from 11.9-12.2 @ 115-118mph
His car is definately a runner
Shawn in his modded 55 ran the best time of the day
11.7@118 which was what Jrocket ran last time. Shawn and John's cars are very close in performance.
Jangy gets the bullet proof catr award as the 100 runs he made never really hurt his performance wher as the other cars seemed to slow after making several passes in a row.
It was a heck of a fun day!!
Thanks all the AMG fam for attending see you on Nov 30th.
