Been gone from this forum for a while. Today I sold my 996 GT2 (630whp) and purchased my new Black Series
And have no regrets

Congrats on the beautiful car. I just dont understand one thing, why would the dealer put the front plates on. I would honestly recommend taking it off because it does not justify the beauty of the car.

Yeah, if I recall, the car comes from the manufacturer without the front plates. It's the dealership that drills holes into the bumper (ouch!).
At any rate, that's one helluva car bro. Congrats and drive her the way she was meant to be.

Dont worry. Same thing happened to me when i bought my s550. I took the plates off and i noticed i had 6 holes. I honestly dont know what you can do unless you repaint it (not worth it in my opinion). Go see if the dealership is willing to do anything about it. Look around and see what you can do. One way or another, it is a beautiful car so enjoy it! How do you like the clear bra. I hate seeing that line across the hood.
