the residual is $34,000.
payments are 1440+tax with 6k down.
Wait!!! thats 1551.00 including tax (7.75) with 1k more down than your original deal at 1668.00 including tax and you are getting a used car. I dont know if the 100 dollar savings is worth the used car plus the extra dime down.

The good thing is most of your payment is towards depreciation. And you got a car, congrats.

am pretty happy pick up the car friday woohoo im smiling from ear to ear

the new 08 deal was 52745$ residual with 5k down and 1668/month... i think i can live with 6500 miles ... i drove the car around the block and she felt just like the 08 i drove yesterday

Now you will not have to train her as aggressively since the car already has been broken in so to speak.. Make certain you drive her hard for at least 300 miles so the TCU and ECU will adapt to going fast. Check your shift points and enjoy this Beautiful car. Awesome news and welcome to the Club!

a car that gets very poor gas mileage.
Once in a while I'll come across one of your posts where you mention how much you want to get a CLS63. It's good to hear you finally got one. Congrats.

centurion: did the same thing before i bought my previous car.... stalked the forums for a few months... i actually drove an M6 as well last weekend, and the constant kicking in the back everytime the car shifted was horrid...

vic55... the tax rate is actually 8.25% for los angeles county, money factor was 0.00208 through us bank, and 33386 to buy at end of 39 months.... with 12k/miles per year

Oh I know, for some reason I was using my tax rate ... nice purchase, time for pics.

I like US Bank, had them for M5... love the low MF's and residuals which means most of your payment is depreciation. Unless the residual is very very high they are the bank cause they just dont charge that much in relation to lease interest. FYI they have a lower rate- I think .00197 but it may be for new cars.

enjoy, enjoy, enjoy....

Plus a great deal....

lease pay 1548 x 39 = $60,372
down pay $ 5,000
residue $ 33,333

total cost @ buyout $ 98,705

Not too bad considering it takes very little money to play.

of course you need to factor the tax savings of lease vs depreciation/interest (if you have bought it)

It took my dealership about a week to approve me, but they gave me the car to drive.

Sometimes they keep you waiting to get your juices up so they can raise the interest rate due to an unpaid bill 10 years ago.

Hang in there.

If you can't find zaino until monday, I got the entire line of products that I bought from the LA distributor. It cost me a little over $200. For you $150.

US Bank is about as cautious as it gets. I was paying 1200 per month for an E55 and I paid Chase for 2 years and had a 770 score at the time. I traded the car if for an M5 for the same payment (1216 per month) and had more than enough income to handle the payment and my debt and they still wanted proof of income. And this was back in 2002 when the economy was just fine. I understand why they might want to be a bit more cautious in this environment with larger ticket sizes and assets that are holding less and less of their value.

But its all academic based on your most recent posts as you stated you are all in!! Congrats, you will need to come down to some our OC meets and runs. We probably meet up every Saturday.
