you could seriously do 100 runs....But you likely wanna enjoy the car so 10-15 is plenty.
as far as the helmet I think you are right you likely need a SA helmet byut from the SNELL website I see your M2005 was rated higher than the 90 requirement. I will do some further checking on this if you are gonna sign up!

My last three times at this track, I ran the entire day without a helmet until my very last run of the day, in which they stopped me or 10 minutes, then decided it'd be easier to let me go than listen to what I'm saying.......

Common man, we need the highest dyno 63 to break some records
....... and this coming event at Sacramento is the only place and time throughout the whole year you can do it.

I wouldn't mind paying $50 extra to get this thing going. It is a lot of fun, you get to meet so many great people, and enjoy your AMG on the track.
