But regardless of this event, I know people will go to Sacramento Raceway since it is on a Saturday and temperatures will reach a high of 55 with -100 DA........ ----> Perfect time to break and set records all over the place......

Dude, who cares how far it is......... you just have to do it once to set your record and to test the limits of your car. The Sacramento weather conditions on 12/08/2007 will be perfect for obtaining the quickest and fastest runs a california car can do.....
Temps will reach a high of 55 F
DA will be between -300 to + 300 ft
A couple of sponsors will be there as well...........
So common guys, lets do this..........

There is a track event at the California Speedway drag strip in Fontana, California. It is a private track rental, so you won't have to wait in huge lines and wait for hours and hours to get 1 or 2 runs. We need at least 70 people to sign up for this event to happen. Admissions is $100 and it is a LOT of fun......

you could seriously do 100 runs....But you likely wanna enjoy the car so 10-15 is plenty.
as far as the helmet I think you are right you likely need a SA helmet byut from the SNELL website I see your M2005 was rated higher than the 90 requirement. I will do some further checking on this if you are gonna sign up!
