Audible Hi/Low Siren Sound inside car at start

Started my car and heard a suttle low volume hi/low siren sound coming from the back seat area. Drove at 1 mph in the parking lot and it went silent when I fasten my seat belt.

Called MB via the tool button. They never heard of this.

Any ideas? (Maybe a warning the car does not like to be driven at 1 mph)

if you have kids..... I would check and make sure they didn't leave a toy in the back nowhere!!!

nope he's right, i hear the exact same "siren" noise thing sometimes coming from the rear. One time it jus kept going 4 times straight in a row until i had to take off the car.

is it like an actual alarm siren sound or more of a whine?

It is like an actual hi low alarm siren and that's no ****. Scared the crap out of me.

As far as kids, cell phones, toys, etc.-Nope not in the car and I checked for all that lose stuff on the floor.

From the replies, I'm not imagining this stuff... it really happened.

It did stop coincidently when I fasten my seat belt. Will try to recreate the circumstance.

Well nevermind then! lol I have no clue what an actual siren could be! Mine was like a whine from a valve that was leaking air. I think it may have had something to do with my seat adjustments because they aren't working now. Maybe an air hose came off or something...
