You need to drop that price to at least $95k
Are all the 07 models gone? Dealers will be a lot more motivated to get rid of the 07 models out of the lost, and so you'll be able to "bend" them to your will a little - sort of speak.

Tell em , "hey I was offered 7500 off sticker on a car very similar to this one"
Can you guys simply come down to 95 500...pt the same 4k down and lower the payment a tad , 1650-1790 is a more reasoned range

Dude, do you realize that you can do a 60 month purchase for a hundred bucks less a month??? Or a 48 month purchase for a couple hundred more??

If you can wait a little, return to the dealer between christmas and new years and you can get at least 5k off MSRP (or more if you work the deal). Dealers need buyers more than buyers need dealers before they close the books for the end of the year.

Of course paying 2x the amount on the down payment will decrease the price. !!
$8.2k down payment as opposed to $4k down payment? Hmm, let's see...
This isn't much of a special.
Its more like manipulating numbers to make it seem as if you've saved in one major aspect but paid for it in another.

I bought mine in Aug for 85K, now they are about 75-80K...wow, I still love the car, hopefully the drop will not be this rate every 4 months.

No kidding! I have honestly never lost money on a car. I should have known better than to buy a MB. I will lose my *** on this one! My 55 has gone down in value by $10k in the four months that I have owned it.

2010 RRS ; BMW K1200R; 14 E350 ; 14 RRS on order
You guys sound shocked that cars are not a good investment vehicle.
That's why I lease. Cause no matter how much it costs me at the end, I won't lose as much especially when you figure in the tax gains.

Go to swapalease.com and find one with no out of pocket and at a cheaper payment.
http://swapalease.com/VehicleSearch/...=CLS+Class+AMG
Lots of CLS55's on here (be aware of the fact the 2007 CLS550's are listed as 5.5 liter cars and know they are not supercharged)
Also, in the event if you crash it (or you are sitting at a stoplight and get rear-ended) and the car gets $20K+ in damage you won't be on the hook for the deprecitaion when you want to sell the car. You simply walk...
There is a nice, black 55 for $1,298 an month, 14 months left with 2200 miles per month. I bet they would negotiate on their requested downstroke.

At the end of your lease you will have paid over 80,000 $. Might as well buy the car.
