Hey guys, I just picked up a 2007 CLS63 AMG and I also want to do some modding. Do you think the evo ECU tune is the best? What mods can I do to get the best bang for my buck? The car is supposed to have 507 hp, but at the wheels much less. I have heard that some people are making 470/480hp at the wheels with an ecu, headers, exhaust,pulley- but not sure how to go about this without spending a fortune. I am also told they don't make supercharger/turbo for the 6.3 amg. What other mods can be done? Anybody have experience? Thanks in advance. Want to make my car as fast as can be, since this is going to be the fastest car I own out the gate. ![drive](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/driving.gif)

Look up a forum member by the name of rarfinancial. He's got some very cool mods and have gone through many different vendors to find the right combination of power mods. His CLS63 is currently the quickest/fastest one in the country on NOS and second fastest naturally aspirated right behind Juicee63's 121 mph run. Both of these guys know the CLS platform inside out

By the way, this thread is almost 2.5 years old....

wow nice find.
Light wheels, lighter crank pulleys, spacers, IAT sensor relocation, filters,
A light set of rims in my opinion is best bang for buck. ECU will free up 15-35hp at best.
