That statement is like calling your doctor and describing a pain and he gives you a diagnosis on the phone that you need surgery!
I am sure the parts / service list for the repair would spell out what has been damaged on the car. Just my .02.

The insurance adjuster is going there either today or tommorrow.I guess I'll find out the deal then.I dont think they will pay for stuff that doesnt need to be replaced?
I just want the car fixed right. And 1k is my downside which isnt the end of the world.

for the future, try negotiating with your insurance company to drop your deductibles. mine are at 500 for coll & 250 for comp. The difference for a 1000 deductible was like 40$/year.

make sure to list it as a "pleasure" auto, with mileage under 7400 (thats the limit above which the premiums get higher)

X3 and 2012 C coming soon
So the rape comments weren't unfounded. I have had plenty of service/ repair people try to fix or replace things that didn't need such. Good to see the lower price. Will it have less of an impact on your premium?

nope didnt pick the finish yet on the wheels. i keep going back and forth on them. this is the hardest choice for me, the body kit, exhaust, color, car where all easy choices. damm all those wheels and finishes.
But i will tell you this when i do buy my wheels the are going to be 360!
