Ordering

Does anyone have any idea if they are taking order on the 2009 model. I was wondering how long before they did and what estimated time of delivery is.

The time has come to order a new one, I was looking at the S63 but I think I'll go with the CLS one more time.

I'm 33yrs old I have plenty of time to step up to the S63. I saw one today and what a beauty.

Well I plan on going to the dealer this week to check on status for the 2009. If anyone has a deposit and options I would like to see them.

Thanks!

got info

Hey all!

I went to the dealer today and found out that there "happened" to be an exact replica of what I wanted already at the port. I couldn't believe it but he proved it in netstar.

I asked the SA if there had been any deposits on the 2009? He opened up netstar and showed me that there where only a 2 more in the state. He went about his sales pitch on how its a limited production vehicle. When I asked to build and see how long it would take for it to get here. He tried to push a 2008 on me.

The only options I was able to pick was Premium 1 he had no other info on it and told me that once I placed the deposit I would have the car in 45 days max.

I was completely shocked, but considering how the economy is I could understand. The price with p1 and parktronic was 102,353.

They didn't even have brochures on the car at all. I will post info as I get it!

Hey Clos...

How are you?

Sticking with my 55. Only have 10,000 baied miles on it and still enjoy it.

No visits to South Beach lately. Rented the condo and bought a place in Pinehurst. I guess we are getting old but South Beach just has less appeal these days.

Hope all is well

My local dealer has 2 CLS63's coming in late July and offered me one which I can order exactly as I want it, plus he is discounting the car by $2500 off MSRP. In case anyone's interested in ordering for late-July delivery, contact Chris Tiernan at Mercedes-Benz of Fort Myers
15461 South Tamiami Trail
Fort Myers, FL 33908
Phone 800-351-7403
Direct 239-210-6250
Fax 239-433-5546

Chris.Tiernan@Mercedesoffortmyers.com

He's a very helpful fellow and very responsive to emails.

Since I will be at my summer home until end of October, I've chosen to order from his next allotment for late-October delivery, same $2500 off MSRP and configured exactly how I want it configured. There's no sense in me having to fly down to take delivery of the car just to have it sit in my garage through the rest of hurricane season!

Good luck with your new car!

Jeff
