cls63 $59999

i found a cls 63 for 59999 with 43k on the motor blk on blk what do u guys think? should i get a cls55 with the same mileage for 49999 both are not certified

Sorry but AMG cars shouldn't be bought without warranty no matter what...If I did decide I say the CLS55 cause its more up to date driving wise and more cheaper to mod.

I agree, I would never buy one of these things outside of warranty. I just had major transmission repair, and I only have 15k miles.

I agree. AMG cars should be bought with CPO from an MB dealer. these cars do have issues from time to time. You will be out of a lot of $$$$ if things do occur...

some other people have commented on here that the DC warranty is just as good...

It seems like a constant debate between different groups. I don't have a CLS (yet), but under the same quandry as yourself about which way to purchase.

I'm surprised to hear about transmission issues since it's the 5 speed. what other major issues come up that hve gotten serviced through warranty?

If your gonna do mods go with the 55 but if your gonna mod it Warranty don't matter anyways

Warranty is a MUST with or without mods. It's true that mods will void a lot of the engine warranty, but not all. It essentially depends on your local dealer on how much "mod friendly" they are. More importantly, the mods will NOT void the electronics warranty or the other mechanical parts warranty. For example, if the navigation goes out, it'll cost $3k to $4k to replace; if Airmatic is damaged, it'll cost $2k to $4k, etc...
