Is it true you can't reset service indicators on 06 CLS55??
Hello everyone,
I have been trying to reset the service E indicator on my 06 CLS55 using every possible technique searched in this forum without success. I did this successfully on my 05 E55, but I have read in a number of places that the service reset is not available starting on the 06 models. Any truth to this? Also does anyone know the part number for the dipstick on the 55 motor?

Door closed, key position 2 w/service date on multifunction display, reset button held for 5 secs. Doesn't do anything but revert to MPH display. I tried different combos stated on the board with same or no results. This procedure worked on my 05 E55

I tried the position 1, press reset button three times technique....IT WORKED!! FINALLY!! Thanks a lot guys for your help. I almost took it to the dealer just to reset after doing my own oil change. You saved me a trip

Hey guys, I have the PDF file that shows me step by step on how to reset service indicators for my CLS 55 AMG. I get to the service menu (additional work etc.....) and i can click inside all the services but when i try to confirm, they all say "not confirmed" when i try to reset services.
The message that i get when i turn on the car is "your service has exceeded blah blah blah.."
Any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks in advance.
