Does anyone know how to reset TPMS

I have aftermarket wheels which didnt have sensors in them so I get a message in the dash saying no sensors installed. Now I installed sensors, but do not know how to force the car to check for them again. Does anyone know how to reset the system so it will detect the sensors?

1. where did you get sensors from ?
2. are they the original sensors for your car ?
3. if not, you have to go to dealer to have them synced with your car hardware.

p.s. you can't stick any new or used mercedes sensors in there and expect them to work.

Any new news on this questions????? I'm trying to just get the system bypassed. I have after Market rims.

If you just want to bypass, you can disable the tmps through the instrument cluster before you remove your wheels.

Are you still having issues, it can be a few different things, the sensors crack inside really easy when taking off the tires or putting them back on. one little crack inside that you cannot see can send up the tire pressure sensors in red warnings. the other if it is all okay, just go into your Insturment cluster and go to the tire pressure screen and reset it, the way to get it into rapid mode for the sensors to pick up the values faster go to each tire either raise or drop it five pounds, then put the tire back to specs, reset the cluster and drive it, (the tire pressure sensors are in rapid mode only for about 2-4 mins when you drop the pressures, so act quick)
