New owner of a CLS55 AMG.. how to clear "service D" indicator on my dash?
For starters, I am new to this forum- so please be gentle

I am a new owner of a white/tan 2006 CLS55 AMG.. what an amazing machine! Only 20,000 miles, and I purchased her from the original owner. It's got a pulley upgrade and some ECU tuning done to it already, so it's even more fun than a stock CLS55
Everything is great, but this "service D" indicator on my dash is really bugging me. How do I clear this code? I just changed the oil myself (5w40 Mobil 1, MBZ oil filter, and replaced both drain plugs/copper washers), along with inspecting everything else on the vehicle- everything looks great.
Could someone post up a DIY on how to clear the "service D exceeded by XXXX miles" on my dash?
Thanks in advance!

I called my local MBZ dealership earlier today, they said it would take 30 minutes to 1 hour, and would cost $100 to clear the code. I thought that was ridiculous.. so I posted my issue here. All it took was 30 seconds!
Thanks again.
BTW, if anyone is wondering, I picked her up for $46,000. The original asking price was $58,000... but I did quite a bit of negotiation. Money talks!

m_berman- I searched on EBAY, but found nothing. Could you possibly direct me to a link where I could pick up a hair of white lenses? The orange really is an eye sore to me too

I bought the car from a private party. The dealers that had similar cars (year, mileage, color combo, etc..) were selling in the $60,000 range

Did you purchase from a dealer or a private individual? And if a dealer, was it a benz dealer?

Seems like the more research I do on the forums and on the web, along with hearing info from various dealerships and sellers- I guess this was truly an amazing deal.
The previous owner really took great care of this car, and I look forward to doing the same for years to come.
The front amber turn lenses are going to be replaced very very soon- thanks again for the link and for that tip!
For me, tan interiors make the car look roomy and spacious...and along with a nice wood trim creates a nice soothing environment.
Black exterior is just hard to keep clean for me...and it looks awful if it's not clean. Otherwise I do like the black exterior/tan interior combination.
