Sick and tired of bending wheels
HI guys, i live in Chicago where the roads suck. I bent my front wheels three times. The tire in the front is 35 series. I had 05 m3 with 19's that also had 35 series tire never bent the wheel in my life with that car. What is the problem?

OEM wheels are crap. Mine has cracked before and had to be repaired.
No real solution really, unless you want to ride on donuts. Don't listen to claims that forged wheels will prevent cracks and bends.
This is the cost of ownership! Get a daily driver!

I had/have the same problem. I've posted before on this issue because all 4 of my rims were bent or out of round. I think this needs to be reported to MB. For a car this expensive we shouldn't be dealing with cheap rims. As you stated before...I've need hat an issue with bent rims on any of my other cars. It cost me $400 to get my front rims repaired. I haven't done the back two because I'm putting new rims on the car.

just a quick question as in the states i noticed you guys buy wheels in an eye blink and most of the OEM wheels are not real but replcas...might wnat to check it out
the real rims are very hard n sturdy
also the bigger wheel you go for (19-20) the higher risk you run of herting them on crap roads.
1 make sure your wheels are oem
2 alter you driving to actuly look for the bad spots in the road
3 make sure you have enough air in them for these impacts

Solution: Sell the CLS and get a G55 with a RennTech or Volace upgrade package. A 600 hp G55 isnt bad.

Put on
some quality 18's the ride will improve,the rims will last,it will handle much better.

mb won't even install as an option 19's on some of the newer models,simply from the issues you suffer.

Thanks guys for your feedback i guess im not the only one with this problem. I am getting sick of this car because it never drives right allways vibrates, the sound system in our cars sucks, the only good thing about this car is beautifull and fast.
