Dark Blue Renntech CLS55 AMG in Kansas City area?

I was wondering if anyone on this thread is the only of a dark/midnight blue CLS55 AMG, tuned by Renntech, which was at Aristocrat Motors this morning? Anyway, I was there dropping off my E55 for service, and I had to give you props. I heard your exhaust and it sounds nice.... I asked Clinton about it, and he said that you'd added headers and changed out your entire exhaust for a Renntech exhaust (he thought). Anyway, I'm just giving some props to a fellow AMG lover. Sick ride, man!

Thanks, that car is mine. I had a Stage 3 Renntech package put on it (crank pully, headers, ecu reprogram). The exhaust is stock, I only added the headers. Have you done any mods to your E55?

Sweet ride... Yeah, I have the Kleemann K2 package on my E55 (crank pulley, headers, high flow air filters and ecu reprogram). I am thinking about going with the larger throttle body, which should put me in the 600hp range... How satisfied have you been with the Renntech mods?

So far so good with the Renntech stuff. It really made a big difference in the way the car runs. Do you go to any track days? A friend of mine takes his Lotus Elise up to Topeka at Heartland throughout the year to various track days, and want me to go with him some time.

Nah, I haven't been to any of the track day stuff yet, but my boss is really big into cars, also, and he takes his car(s) out there all the time. He, like your friend, asks me to go from time to time. I probably need to get out there, if for no other reason that to watch!

lol the guy wasn't even part of the forum till he responded to this post. I don't get it, do people stalk these forums till someone asks "hey, whose car is this?" then they join?

Like how did he know...? Someone tipped him off...

I'm guessing a buddy of his tipped him off that I'd asked about his car and he said "what the heck, I'll join"
It's all good though... At the end of the day, I'm just trying to round up some enthusiasts here in KC...

Yeah, I saw that. Don't get why you'd create an sn if you don't plan to use it though.

On some forums you don't have access to things like pictures or certain areas without a SN.

I'm kinda bad at not posting anything on forums unless i need to. I had not been back on this website in months, and just happened to be on it and saw a recent post about a dark blue CLS55 at Aristocrat Motors. There aren't too many of these in KC, so i figured it had to be mine. Dumb luck i guess of seeing the post after months of not looking at this site. I would love to meet up with some of you KC guys. Pick a day, time and place and let me know. I live in the Shawnee area and my office is in KCK. I just talked to my friend with a Lotus Elise and he told me about a place out south that he had his car dyno'd at. I am thinking about doing it to see what my car puts down at the wheels probably in the next few weeks or so. Let me know if any of you would be interested in this and I can find out the exact cost.

I'd be interested in getting my E55 dyno'd also. Let me know if you find something out about where this place is, etc. My office is out in Shawnee, but I actually live in the Lees Summit area...

We should get the KC-area AMG enthusiasts together sometime... I think it'd be cool to meet some other folks with an appreciation for fine automobiles!
