Best Exhaust to go with on CLS55

Hey Everyone,
Quick question, which exhaust system sounds the best on the cls55? Also is there any other way to get some sound without buying an exhaust system for example deleting the resonator(s) etc. Thanks for any and all help!

Delete the resonator first and see if thats enough, it is for most people as during normal driving it is still fairly stock but when throttle get its, the sound is much more aggressive! Good luck

Supersprint offer the best complete performance exhaust for the CLS55. Their long tube headers are works of art.

Sorry for my lack of knowledge here but when deleting the resonator is there a part sold to fill the gap or simply throw a piece of pipe in weld it up and be on your way?? thanks again

some people replace with an X pipe, I just replaced it with 2 straight sections. I doubt there is little difference.

x pipe makes a difference compared to straight pipes when u have the kleeman headers and DP. ive got some vid clips on youtube. the titles should state the mods for each vid.
hopefully these clips can help give u an idea of how they sound.

dyno run with kleeman k2, VRP x-pipe, and VRP CFairbox with CF intake tubes
