So I take delivery of my black on black 06 CLS55 sometime this week!!! I'm extremely excited...

Few questions, as I sat in the car and couldn't figure it out..

1) Do the dynamic seats work always, or only on really sharp turns or what? Is it uncomfortable to have them always on?

2) Keyless start... lets say someone starts the car and leaves but I'm outside of the car with the key... what happens when the car goes out of range?

3) Pulse seats... I was parked, car started, and hit the pulse button... but didn't feel any massaging on either seat?

4) Navigation... how can I change the state I'm in? It said I was in OK but I'm in FL. I didn't get a chance to take the manual home or else I'd look into it myself.

Congrats!

1. if the button's on then it's work all the time. Obviously more correction on harder turns.

2. If you start the car with keyless and leave from what ive seen the car still stays on. ive never really walked away from it when it's running.

3. from what i remember the active seats turn off , and the lower back massage begins

4. i think it just asks you for the city and it figures out what state... as you enter in the first few letters of the city, hit "list" on the top right and then it'll show you matching cities in different states.

good luck with her!

I can't answer all of your questions, but the keyless go question happens to me all the time. If I'm driving my wife's car and she jumps out to run into a store with the key in her pocket, you can still drive for a while. I think (not sure) that it is 12 miles or so. Just don't turn it off, car won't restart. Nor can you lock it.

My nav was set on CA, I fiddled with it for about two minutes, told it I was in NH, and it now seems to know I live here... not real technical, I know.

You can turn off the active seats.

along the same lines, why does the pulse just blink at times, while at other times it turns red and actually starts massaging ? (the manual might have the answer, but if someone would know off the top of their head...)
thanks

Title STILL hasn't arrived... I expect the car this week now...

I've sat in it, and hit the pulse button. One time I did it the light was solid and I still couldn't feel anything. Then I tried it a few days later and it wouldn't do anything but blink- with no massage.

BTW, this is my car!! http://www.tatumautogroup.com/showro...LS55-AMG-SPORT

The "pulse" button takes a few minutes to get activated I've noticed. It's impossible to not feel it when it begins working, it's like the lumbar inflates/deflates/moves and you'll know it's working when it begins working. It doesn't begin pulsing immediately.

The active seats are trick. Hug into you around corners, the more steering the more active they get.
