Stolen CLS 63 rims from 030 package
You guys have to hear this sh*t. So i bought an 07 CLS63 with the 030 package about a month ago. I get up Saturday morning to head to the airport to fly to my aunt's funeral. I go out to my car(parked on street in Boston's Back Bay - a nice area) and some f*cker had stolen all 4 of my wheels. Attached is a picture. As you all know, finding these wheels is very difficult and they don't fit many cars. So I think whoever stole them is going to have a very hard time unloading them. If you see any ads on EBay, Craigslist, etc, please let me know.

wow how ghetto I haven't seen something like that in a long time. Your insurance should cover you shouldn't they? Sorry to hear about both of your losses, in the future make sure you get a set of wheel locks.

Fawk that sucks and the a$$holes didnt even leave it on blocks....
Wheel locks only deter the most archaic of thieves, if someone wants the wheels they will take them whenever and wherever (in your case).
Sorry to hear.

I agree this SUX! & I'm sorry to hear/see this post, but have learned to deal w/hardships better by always remembering "It could always be worse" Phukurs could've also taken your AMG Calipers/rotors, or worse yet the entire CLS...
I'd pay retail replacement value to be able to catch them in the act doing this to my ride

This exact same thing happened to my E55 same wheels , Insurance replaced 4 rims and gave me a credit on my tires. There was spoiler damage , nearly 18k in total damages. You are looking at a large claim. As far as recovery it uis highly unlikely. Wheels were likely gone in 40 seconds.

WOW! I don't get it though, shouldn't your CLS have started b!tching once it's lifted off the ground? I know whenever I switch wheels on my SL the alarm goes off? ![nix](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/nixweiss.gif)
I always found it annoying, but now I guess I can appreciate it. The only reason it wouldn't go off is if the cars unlocked... you did lock your car before you went to bed right?
And also, how are you rotors doing?

in your Mom's car
Damn that is *****ty of them to leave it on ground like that. I remember back in '00 I was looking at a new SI and the dealer had one looking exactly like that. Someone hopped the fence and jacked the rims. I hope you get a some good change from the insurance. Good luck.

That is really awful, damn thieves. I hope you have as little damage as possible.
On another note, The subway here in Atl near where I work got robbed twice in two days. They stole bread, meat, toppings, and cookies. No loot was in the store at night.

This is a sad sight
I will keep my eye out.
My dog wakes up everyone if someone walks past my house at night, so that helps. It sucks when there is a party on my street though.

I paid about $80.00 for my wheel locks. I'm a heavy sleeper and still have my 030 rims and I live in the car theft capitol-San Fernando Valley So Cal.

Just a thought... I don't think anyone is immune to this. You can be better prepared, but if you think your untouchable you've got another thing coming...

any damage to the side skirts? this will be hefty claim indeed. perhaps renting a garage is a better option for you, once you get your new rims. you never know if these guys may come back for seconds since they know where you CLS sits..

Appreciate the kind words guys. The frustrating part is how violating it is, some punks ****ing with my car like that. I'd be willing to buy the new wheels myself to just get a few minutes alone with them. To answer some questions, the closest garage to me is 5 blocks away, and my area is normally a very safe place. It pisses me off that i pay a fortune in taxes for my place and Im suppossed to walk 5 blocks because the cops wont do their jobs. I'm also told wheels locks might have slowed them down, but they probably would have sprayed them with freon and hit them with a hammer and taken the wheels anyway. The front calibers were barely touching the ground, they were *kind* enough to put some beverage crates under the car to keep it from completely falling on the ground. My tech at MB says im lucky, only need new wheels and the plastic undercarriage that was broken by the jacks. I am concerned its going to happen again too, that's why I really want to find these guys......
