Just order 2010 E-Class Coupe for wife...
I just place an order today for a 2010 E-Class Coupe for my wife.. Her M-5 lease is almost over. What do ya think? I was trying to convince her to take my CLS55 as her new car, so I can take advantage of the cheap exotic market again... But was SHUT DOWN badly!!!!! 
there's really nothing out there that are attractive and new... so she went with the newest and latest model... I was suprise they're not making a 63 for the coupe....

Yes the E-Class coupe will be the CLK replacement. I am always afraid to buy something that no one have driven yet, however they told me my deposit can be refunded anytime. 
I order the V8 E550 coupe, White exterior with Black interior, Navigation, brushed aluminum trim, sun roof.
I plan on modding this with the White on matte black look, blacking out the front grill, black emblems, black 3 piece wheels. Should be fun till the 24 months lease is over...

I order from Rusnak Mercedes in Arcadia. Thats where my family normally go except for my CLS55 since it was implusive..
HP is 388 on the E550 Coupe.. according to what I have read from articles and reviews, that should be plenty of power...I am sure is downgrade from her current M5 But thats what she wanted, she was tired of the jerky SMG transmission on the M5 and was my choice to get that car back than...
new body style, should be fun... actually looking forward to a new styling car and new project... is been a while....

It's a great looking car but it is also interesting to know that the "2010 Mercedes E-Class Coupe" is based on W204 C-Class Platform and not the E!!! Don't know if it's old news but I just found that out. I hope you knew that before you put down your deposit. Good luck.

It's a great looking car but it is also interesting to know that the "2010 Mercedes E-Class Coupe" is based on W204 C-Class Platform and not the E!!! Don't know if it's old news but I just found that out. I hope you knew that before you put down your deposit. Good luck.

Yeah I read the article before I put the deposit down. Rather is a C or a E, is still going to wear a E badge, and new body style. certainly cheaper than any other options that we have for her next car, so for the next 24 months, I think this will do... Maybe E stand for Entering-Recession Mode... haha.. thank for the info. and they said after test driving the car, if i dont like it, i can get full refund on my deposit.
