Options for cls55 dash wood trim?

I know this has been asked for other models on these forums, but most of the common sites for dash wood do not seem to have CLS kits.

what are my options for getting any kind of dark glossy wood or (less appealing) carbon fiber?

And is there ANY market at all to sell the matte burl wood currently in the car?

THANKS!

You can also mix in some Alcantara if you're feeling adventurous..

Hi,

Think i may have duplicated your question as mine is the same, no one seems to supply a dash like the one in the pic above.

I understand that one is the Brabus CLS, however they dont seem to sell the dash seperate.

Contact MACarbon, They will make anything into carbon. What about painting it piano black? Igor80 or whatever his name is did it and it looks great.

really can't see any sense in replacing the leather finish of the top side of the dash: it has the best leader quality and work than in any other part of the interior !

it's standard for euro endowment
inside there's a funny automatic-revolving single cup holder

That's awesome, does anyone have a part number for it or know where I can obtain that setup? I hate having the cup holders right below my wrists when my hand is always resting on the shifter.

Wouldnt you have to change the whole center console (where the armrest is)? I think my twin cupholders bulge out so you can just have that flush area for that single cupholder..

.. I forgot: it holds cup AND bottle

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/MERCE...Q5fAccessories

but you will not get a solution to your problem of it being below your wrist because it must be open to host something ... or you should just use the housing without any cupholder inside

^ holy **** that cup holder looks 100x more annoying. I would just use it as a compartment to hold crap in and keep it closed at all times. I don't like having cup holders there because they always get filthy, and I end up putting crap in them anyway since I put my bottles by my seatbelt buckle, and never allow cups in the car because.... well a cup shouldn't be in a AMG in the first place because everyone knows what happens.

Looks like the only thing that'd need to be changed is the side panels of the center console.

PS. having that suede on top of the door panels is the dumbest thing Brabus could have done in that department.

^ That looks sweet, got any bigger/closer shots?

Sheesh we went competely off topic.

To the OP...

You have several choices.

1. Real CF (aprox. 1200-2000) you can do it in any color

2. Faux CF

Also available in Charcoal, Black, and Silver

3. Paint, I painted my piano black temporarily till I get a spare set of trim and have it wrapped in real CF.

Honest opinion... unless you clean your car every day, don't do the piano black, it gets dirty soo easily and every particle of dust is visible, I love it... but I also hate it, it looks nice, clean and classy when it's new, but after wiping it down after each finger print or dust, using brand new microfiber cloths every time... you end up getting a ton of swirls.

yes, original AMG Anthrazit colour from Alcantara.
(pay attention at the tone colour because the guy at the plant told me that their products for the aftermasrket have slightly different colour tones ..)

I was also thinking at CF for the back but ... this is a CLS !

.. still, I am studying on giving her CF entrance sills

how do you post big pics like that ? (imageshak does not allow me to..)

I think this is the biggest it lets me do
