cls63 vs m6- Which one should i get?

I'm in the market for a new (used) car. I have narrowed it down between the cls63 and the m6 but cant decide. Has anyone driven both of these cars ? Any specific reason why you would choose one over the other ? Thanks

I wrestled with the same question for over a year. I ended up choosing the CLS63, because a very unique opportunity became available. Not sure if this helps you, but I've never looked back - I've been extremely happy with the decision. Also, I'm not one of those BMW haters. I'm a huge fan, and I've had 4 M3's (I still have one).

I don't think you can go wrong - both cars have great attributes.

There's no wrong choice, both cars are excellent. Drive both, don't rely on us.

Mercedes
CLS...I'm biased though. BUT, the M6 and X6 are the best looking BMWs out currently. I would get the M6 is if it was a white exterior/red interior coupe or a white ext/red int/black top convertible. I say this because my friend just got a white on red e92 M3 and that color scheme is sweet on a BMW.

Ain't that the truth...

CLS will be a slightly smootehr ride with more power low down to get you away from the lights....M6 is a little more involving with more detailed steering and the SMG3 gearbox...I personally give the Beemer the edge but as Cylinder said, there's no wrong choice....

CLK63 Black Series
You won't be disappointed with either one. M6 is the better handling car and has a sequential gearbox which I like very much. The V10 sounds very nice and makes plenty of power between 5000 and 8000 rpm. ClS will have more low end torque. M6 is also more involving to drive compared to the CLS. If you into electronics, the M6 has plenty to offer, like HUD, suspension and shift settings can be adjusted via iDrive and has a better NAV system. The interior of the M6 is very well appointed, especially if you get one with the merino leather interior and carbon fiber trim. Unless you are a toddler, the rear seats are better suited for storage.

2012 MB CLS 550
I've had 2 M6's and a CLS55 and now a CLS63....This comparison is difficult....The CLS63 is so unique, sexy, seats 4...The M6 feels tighter and handles differently thats for sure....Both are fast in a straight line....Heres the deal, i have a sports car and drive that when I want a sports car....The M6 tries to be one, but isnt, its a GT car just like the CLS63, but doesnt look nearly as good nor is the interior as nice...It does feel tighter...You see what I drive now, so .....Id get the CLS63
