Incredible, congrats
I may be driving mine til 2020. lol. 32k and going strong. I agree the CLS still feels more exclusive. Love it , great great design, the lines are spectacular

I have previously owned both turbo and supercharged cars, stock and modded and Im still a fan of Turbos. I just wish AMG would get off their ***'s and release that twin turbo motor I keep hearing rumors about.

I can say a stock 09 CLS63 is LOUDER and has a raspier tone than 06-08 CLS's, hands down.
the f'ing throttle blips..... it just changes the whole experience of the car so much.
My 2007 CLS63 had over 40,000 miles on it: https://mbworld.org/forums/cls55-amg...-problems.html

CLS55 AMG
For me its not picking one over another, they just don't make 55's any longer so we (the public) really don't have a choice when getting a new car.

On Autoblog.com, I see they said the 6.2 is gonna be replaced by a 5.0 litre V8? I don't think that's gonna happen.
The sound of the 6.2 is the best I've ever heard! Last time I heard a C63 in a small street. The sound Echo'ed (or however you said that) all around me

Day two of install.
Notice the differences between the OEM and Quaife.
oem is open frame.
Quaife is closed frame.
----------------------------------------------------------------
As a direct replacement for the standard, factory-fitted ‘open' differential, QUAIFE's ATB helical LSD unit can transform the performance of any vehicle. Unlike a conventional plate-type limited slip unit, QUAIFE's ATB Helical LSD unit relies on gears rather than clutch plates for its operation.
That means it is much smoother in operation because, unlike a conventional plate-type LSD, it never locks harshly with a set pre-load of wheel slip across the driven axle. Rather, it automatically biases the torque away from the spinning wheel across the axle, to a constantly varying degree.
Sets of floating helical gear pinions mesh to provide the normal-speed differential action. In the event of wheel slip, torque bias is generated by the axial and radial thrusts of the pinions in their pockets. The resultant friction forces enable the differential to transmit a greater proportion of the torque to the appropriate wheel. The effect is progressive and at no stage does the differential lock solid, hence the inherent safety and user-friendliness of the QUAIFE ATB Helical LSD unit.

f'ing throttle blips and ATB ..... it must be Christmas !!!
Wish I had installed ATB in my 07 as it is a game changer.
The Quaife is living up to its reputation .... and all I did was drive home...Video soon.
thanks !
