Added a qt of oil at 2k, 4k, and now 6k. Very typical and I expect oil usage will decrease once I hit 10k-12k, as it did in my 07.
No repairs or problems to date.
Still grin every morning at the first wot of the day ..........
They claimed MB insists that dealers only change the cars oil per the service plan of 10,000 miles so I left.
Just stupid..............
No repairs or services, nothing !
Hat's off to AMG, 500 hp cars with racing motors offered as a practical choice for a daily driver because of its reliability.
entirely predictable experience, last one never had any problems.

Watching him I never saw the mother of all potholes and bam the whole car shakes and all the door locks pop open.
have to wait for first light to see if I bent the rim.
.
I was about to buy a cheap tune but Bruce at TTmotorsports tipped me off me to wait a while as the better tunes are coming down in price. Offering so many more features/changes gives him more flexibility to find the sweet spot in her.

Over the last 3 months I have run a wider front tire 265/30/19. The steering is much improved and the car feels more planted at higher speeds. At first I figured the 10mm difference would not be an enhancement at all. Car feels better on the street. I do also run a 295/30/19 rear .
The next improvement comes from improving the IAT sensor locale.
I had it moved a few years ago. The location the tuner chose was not ideal.
I mounted the sensor to the front bumper skirt , further away from the motor. My car can now hot lap, and it is a significant improvement .
Great looking car, I hope you are still excited to drive each day !
now you got me back on tires again. Car came with Bridgestone protenzas, not a brand I would buy and I have been looking for an excuse to take them off.
I like the P zero's on my 07 much better, especially in this cold weather.
Thanks for the advice !

Checked with the dealer and the 09 CLS63 has No Recalls or service campaigns. No issues with the car to date, no repairs.
If you don't bring it to the dealer for services they don't tell you about service campaigns and recalls. They flashed my 07 CLS63 during the service and suddenly the car was starting in 1 gear in sport mode instead of second.
Car needed one fog light replaced as the glass was shattered by a stone.
Cars running strong and loves the cold weather here !
No repairs, breakdowns, problems or complaints, amazingly this car with a hand built >500 HP motor is as reliable as a timex.
20,250 miles, got a flat and cracked the rim. To the rescue like a caped crusader, Bruce from TTM got me another factory rim and new tires, the next day.
I didn't want one new tire mixed with three worn ones and instead TTM set me up with 4 Michelin pilot sport 2's.
Now normally my routine is to abuse the rear ones when new ones are imminent and its something I actually look forward to each year.... so I'm feeling a little cheated !
Tuning Technology Motorsports, thanks for making this as painless as possible !
Dealer service on Saturday and expect the usual gouging and shenanigans getting the 20,000 mile service, ugh I almost would rater visit the dentist then a MB dealer.
30,000 trouble free miles. no repairs or warranty work... period.
4-5 damaged rims and a couple of tires.
3 oil changes.

reference, my 2007 CLS63 never had a problem either. https://mbworld.org/forums/cls55-amg...-problems.html
