Going to the drag strip... NEED SOME TIPS
is it best to have it in M or S..? best was to burn out? should I start in 2nd gear? also heard of putting it in Dyno mod, is that something I should do? I know alot of you guys do it different ways so let me know what worked for you...
car is a cls55 with sprint booster and 20" rims
Go around the water box to keep from dragging water on your front tires. Then back up almost to the water box (damp area for street tires) and do a good long burn out( just medium smoke).. When ready to stop burn out, let off brake and roll out of the burn out .. Roll up to start line, then use left foot to hold brake and right foot to increase idle to 1000 rpm. Do not brake stall on the launch, just let off brake and punch it at the same time..
Keep fuel tank low and remove extra items in car. The cooler the air and higher the barometric , the faster you will run.. Good luck.
