Open your center console, if it looks like this then it's not prewird, if there is a black part that protrudes up then the puck will slide onto it and your car is prewired.

That puck is running outdated software and is the first version puck made so it supports less phones. You can have it flashed at a dealer if they purchased a flash tool which is rare since it's an expensive tool it costs about $150 typically for the flashware. Installation on a phone kit normally runs about 1k at a dealer if you do not include this puck $1500 with the puck. This puck works on all models 05+ the part numbers for different pucks are as follows.
