Beauphus - Try not to get all spun up and worried. If the engine was hydrolocked - it MAY have to be rebuilt but nothing is for sure at this point. Not that you're going to try and fix it yourself but dealerships are there to make money and they are going to bill as many hours as they can - even when it's a pretty simple diagnosis/fix. The first thing to do is take out the spark plugs and spin the motor to get the extra water out. Throw the plugs back in, dry out the air mass meter and give it a shot. If everything sounds good and it runs well - cross your fingers that nothing is bent in there. OTHERWISE, it could be a bent rod or at worst bent rod and damaged crank. As far as a complete longblock?! That's way over the top. New crank and rod at worst. Think of it as an opportunity to throw in a better crank while you're in there. Keep us posted!
