Carbonio/VRP carbon fiber intake air box and engine cover.
Just wanted to let you guys know that Carbonio is the company that actually made the carbon fiber air tubes, airbox and engine cover for VRP mine came in today. They offer an adapter for larger throttle bodies as well.

It was much cheaper than what VRP was charging.

Am a little confuesd. What good is the adaptor if the opening on the q tual airbox is 80mm, and just use a different adaptor for different applications?
Can any one confirm if they have changed it to fit the bigger tb's or it is actuly bigger then 80mm?

In order to have it at 82mm you would have to grind out the opening but it might affect the structural integrity and obviously the warranty so I would advise against it.

I am not positive about the power gain. I need to dig around and see if we have some dyno sheets for those intakes. it comes standard with $74mm throttle body opening. the adapter will increase it to 80mm but not to 82mm

If you could post those dyno sheets! That would be great!
I’ve read a lot about the Carbonio intakes, but have yet to see any proof that they work.
The intake does look good.
What kind of deal can you give us?
